デロンギのオイルヒーターを研究室に買いました。

今日から使い始めていますが快適です。

エアコンのスイッチを切っても部屋が寒くなっていきません。エアコンの音がしないのですごく静かです。これは良い買い物をしました。

日本掲載新聞の書評欄でCarl　Zimmerの”Microcosm: E. coli and the New Science of Life“の翻訳が出版されていることを知りました。
大腸菌　〜進化のカギを握るミクロな生命体というタイトルですが、うまく考えられたタイトルで原書のタイトルより優れているかもしれません。コチラのほうが本書のperspectiveをよく表しています。
ぼくは翻訳版を読んでいませんが、この本は推薦します。
原書はKindle版も出ています。
ぼくが持っているのはPANTHEONという出版社のversionですが、”Minion”というfontで印刷されています。とても美しいfontです。今調べるとぼくのMACにもinstallされていました。
